2023 Homecoming Parade set for Sept. 21

The Cook High School Homecoming Parade will be Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 7 p.m.

The opposing team for Homecoming 2023 will be the Jeff Davis Yellow Jackets. The theme for Homecoming Week this year is “Putting the Hornets on the Map.”

Any school, community organization, club, company, or individual wishing to participate in the parade should contact Paula Simmons by email (psimmons@cook.k12.ga.us) or use the link to fill out the form by scanning the QR code shown. There is no fee to enter the parade; however, you must sign up by the deadline for a designated space and number to be reserved. The deadline to register is Wednesday, Sept. 20, at noon. All participating entries (floats, vehicles, walking groups) should be respectfully Pro Hornets or “Around the World” themed. 

Participants may begin line-up at 6 p.m., and judging will begin at 6:15 p.m. Class float winners will be announced prior to the start of the parade.
