Mr. John Howard Turner, 88

Mr. John Howard Turner, age 88, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on November 11, 2023 at Pruitt Health – Holly Hill Nursing Facility in Valdosta. He was the son of the late John Howard Turner Sr. and Ruby Pafford Touchton.  Mr. Turner was a retired retail sales associate and also was a veteran of the Korean War where he served honorably with the United States Air Force. He is survived by a cousin and his cousin’s wife, Richard and Bernice Turner of El Campo, Texas.

The funeral service for Mr. Turner was held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Hardy officiating. Military Honors were provided by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1090. Interment followed at Woodlawn City Cemetery.
