Mr. Hank Giddens, 61

Mr. Hank Giddens, age 61, of Adel, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.  Born in Cook County, he was the son of the late L.B. and Doris Evelyn Martin Giddens.  He was a graduate of Cook County High School and also attended Valdosta State College.  Hank attended Fellowship Baptist Church and was Retired  Manager of Harvey’s Supermarket.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Giddens.

Survivors include one brother, Stan Giddens of Adel; a sister, Cindy Atkinson of Lithonia, Georgia; nieces and nephews: Lauren Jade Giddens of Hahira, Jaimie Leigh Giddens of Columbia S.C., Lee Atkinson and Logan Atkinson, both of Conyers; great-nieces and nephews: Everleigh Grace Taylor of Hahira, Elliot Bruce Taylor of Hahira, and Garnett Reese Corley of Columbia S.C.

In keeping with his wishes he was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
