Mrs. Irma J. Folsom, 86

Mrs. Irma J. Folsom, age 86, of Adel, Georgia, passed away at her home on September 22, 2023.  She was born in Alapaha, Georgia on August 26, 1937 and her parents were the late Lee Otis Hall and Mae Dell Higgs Hall.  Mrs. Folsom lived in Cook County since 1984 and was a member of Springhead Baptist Church.  Her family describes her as an amazing stay-at-home mother and wife.

Mrs. Folsom is survived by her loving husband, Rowland Folsom of Adel; six children and their spouses: Teresa E. Williams and Jo Deutz of Cheverly, MD, Mike Folsom of Cecil, GA, Harold and Bonnie Folsom of Adel, Dody and Kevin Bennett of Adel, Lisa Mulleé of Tallahassee, FL, Darlene and Wayne Wilkes of Pavo, GA; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her twin brother and his wife, Ernest and Ouida Hall of Berrien County.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service for Mrs. Folsom was held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Folsom Cemetery with Rev. Joey Taylor officiating.  Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com.  Boone Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Folsom.
