Mrs. Linda Kaye Barrett, 74

Linda Kaye Barrett, 74 of Nashville passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Barrett was born October 14, 1948 in Valdosta to the late Clifford Roy Hall and Dorothy Kathleen Coffman Hall. She enjoyed cooking for her family, and shopping but she mostly loved to buy scratch off tickets, which she did pretty good on sometimes. Mrs. Barrett loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Eugene Barrett of Nashville; son, Andy Christenson of South Carolina; grandchildren, Amanda Berry, Nicole Glisson, and Kayla Wiseman; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Ralph Mears of FL; and sisters, Judy Browning, Joyce Vann, and Jackie Ritchie. Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa DeMay.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Palmer officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com. Purvis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
