Mrs. Lucille Stripling, 73

Lucille Stripling, 73 of Adel passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Mrs. Stripling was born March 4, 1949 to the late Seals Emerson Register and Louell McKinney Register. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and was a loving & caring person. Mrs. Stripling loved to have fun and enjoyed the simple things of life.

Survivors include her son, Russell Eugene (Danielle) Stripling, Jr of Adel; daughter, Debbie Stripling Lindsey of Lenox; granddaughter, Jade Davis; sisters, Debbie, Dana, and Mary E.; special friend, Larry James Abbott of Adel; and several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Stripling was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Stripling; daughter, Penny Ellerbe; and grandson, Brian Ellerbe.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 20, 2023 at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Bussey officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com. Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
