Mrs. Diane Eaton, 65

Diane Eaton, 65 of Lenox passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at her residence peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born July 7, 1957 to the late L. B. Rice and Jacquelin Parker. Diane loved her family very much and also her dog that was her baby, Yogi Bear Eaton. She was a great wife, mother, and a friend to many people.  She enjoyed working in the yard with all her flowers and enjoyed their pool cause everyone came over to swim and visit. She was a member of Lenox Christian Fellowship.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy R. Eaton, Sr of Lenox; daughter and son in law, Jamie & Chad Ward of Lenox; son and daughter in law, Jimmy “J. R.” Jr. and Marah Eaton of Sparks; grandchildren, Jake Ward, Julie Ward, Jayden Eaton, Gannon Eaton, and Daegen Eaton; nephew, Linden Joseph “Joey” (Stephanie) Rice Jr..Diane was preceded in death by her stillborn grandson Drew Eaton; brothers, Linden Joseph “Joe” Rice, and Daniel L. “Danny” Rice; and nephew, Daniel “Danny” L. Rice, Jr.

A celebration of life was held Monday, December 26, 2022 at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Charlene Griffin officiating.Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com. Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
