Mrs. Charlotte Johnson Folsom, 89

Mrs. Charlotte Johnson Folsom, age 89, of Adel, Georgia passed away November 13, 2022 at the Southwell Medical Center in Adel.  Mrs. Folsom was born in Brooks County on November 16, 1932 to the late David Twiggs Clyatt Johnson and Allie Belle Mullinax Johnson.  She lived most of her life in Cook County and was a member of the Springhead Baptist Church.  Mrs. Folsom retired as the secretary for the Charlie Folsom Insurance Agency where she worked along side her husband.

Mrs. Folsom is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Lyn Rogers of Adel; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Russell McCranie of Adel; two granddaughters, Tresa Rayfield of Adel, and Leslie Harvey of Ochlocknee, Georgia; two grandsons, Clint Rogers and Chris Rogers both of Adel; ten great grandchildren: Charlie Green of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Bailey Rayfied and Tucker McCranie both of Adel, Kenlie Harvey, and Reid Harvey both of Ochlocknee, Emma Rogers, Dylan Rogers and Cole Rogers all of Adel, Caleb Rogers of Statesboro, Georgia, and Kade Rogers of Adel; and one brother, Larry Johnson of Hudson, Florida.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Leonard Folsom; one grandson, Russell “Rusty” McCranie, Jr.; and two brothers, Danny Johnson and Billy Johnson.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Springhead Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Taylor officiating.  Interment followed in the church cemetery.  Visitation took place at Springhead Baptist Church from 3:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the service.  “Scars in Heaven” and “Precious Memories” were played at the service.  Chris Rogers, Clint Rogers, Tucker McCranie, Cole Rogers, Caleb Rogers, Dylan Rogers, Reid Harvey and Kade Rogers served as pallbearers.
