Crystal Schofill Hunt, 39
Crystal Schofill Hunt of Adel, GA, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2022 at the young age of 39.
Crystal was born on July 20, 1983 to her mother, Margaret Ann Rowe and late father, Robert (Buddy) Schofill, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Alexis Schofill and Caitlin Davis (and Coy Battles), son Tyler Hunt (and Audrey Morris), and granddaughter Avery Ann Battles.
Surviving family is Lisa Schofill, Jason Mahan, fiancé Brian McCann, loving ex-husband Ray Hunt, siblings Ryan (and Jessica) Schofill, Mandy (and Jody) Ledford, Donna Schofill, Freelon (and Jennifer) Gay, Faith (and Jason) McDonald, Michelle Petty, Wesley (and Madison) Gelatt. She is also survived by grandmothers Meme Sharon Rowe and Granny Annette Camp as well as aunts and uncles David and Linda Rowe, Karla and Doug Howell, Tonya Rowe, Trisha and David Sanders, Carolyn and Carl Vredeveld, Vonnie and Gary Schofill, and Richard and Rhett Watson. Crystal was also close to the cousins she leaves behind, Scott (and Laurie) Schofill, Melissa (and John) Roberts, Olivia Rowe, Davis (and Kendall) Howell, Kelly Ann Howell, Will Parrish, Holly DeRossett, Robbie (and Andrew) McGarrity, as well as several nieces nephews and special friends. She is reunited with her Daddy Buddy Schofill, Pa Bill Rowe, Granny Frances Schofill and Grandpa Robert Schofill, Sr.
Crystal adored her kids and granddaughter. She was so proud of them and could often be heard raving about them with her clients. She loved her job as a hair stylist at Merle Norman in Adel, GA. Her family, friends, colleagues and clients would all say she had a soul of gold. Crystal loved helping people. She loved decorating and would go all out for the ugly Christmas sweater party with her siblings, bro-co and sis-co.
As family and friends, we grieve and celebrate the life and passing of Crystal. Although the pain is immeasurable, so is the love left behind.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 4, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church in Adel, GA with Minister David Howell, and Rev. Mark Hancock officiating. The family received friends from 2-4:00 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers were Cory Gibbs, Edward Allen, Will Parrish, Phillip Rogers, Brad Counts, and Nathan Young.
