Brenda McFadden, 67

Brenda McFadden, born December 17, 1954 to the late Raymon Mason and Jeanette Bentley Mason passed suddenly on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the age of 67 at Tift Regional Medical Center. She was a former nuclear Medicine Technologist and was presently a security officer at Kinderlou Forest in Valdosta. Brenda belonged to several organizations including WMU, Boy Scout Leader, and Awana.

Survivors include her husband, Richard “Mac” McFadden; daughter, Ruth Ann Short; son and daughter-in-law, James Mason & Kaliko McFadden; grandchildren, Brittney Short ( Andrew Maurant), Dylan Short (Kaitlan McDermott) great grandchildren, Bentley Short, Jayden Maurant, Samuel Maurant, and Andrew Maurant, Jr. and sister, Charlotte (Wayne) Simpson. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill Mason, and Nathan Mason; and sister, Betty Chambliss.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Lenox Baptist Church with Pastor Carl Metzger, Mr. Wayne Simpson, and Pastor Allen Mullis officiating.
