Mr. Gregory “Greg” Joseph Soyke, 48

    Gregory “Greg” Joseph Soyke, 48, of Adel, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, surrounded by his family at Tift Regional Medical Center. He was born June 8, 1974 in Oakland, CA, but spent most of his life in Binghamton, NY and in Adel, GA. Greg was a master carpenter by trade, and his hobbies included cooking, woodworking, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family.

Greg is survived by his mother Helen Soyke; sisters Tonya Soyke-Tasker, and Ronda Soyke; brother Timothy (Alicia) Soyke: his children, Sebastian “Bass” Soyke, Jared (Samantha) Soyke, Dakota “DJ” Soyke, Kristal (Stevie) Sheffield, and Andrew (Paige) Sisler; grandchildren, Scarlett and Deliliah Soyke, Oliver Sisler, and another expected February 2023; fiancé Rebecca Paige; special friend and mother of his children, Juanity Soyke; and many nieces and nephews that were close to him. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Ronald J. Soyke.

A memorial service will be held at Purvis Funeral Home on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. for friends and family to come together and remember the many wonderful times that were shared with him.
