Sue Fulp Wall, 82
Mrs. Sue Fulp Wall, 82, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on April 8, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 23, 1939 in Cook County to the late Samuel Willard Fulp and Gladys Sue Taylor Fulp. Mrs. Wall lived most of her life in Cook County and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She retired as the Postmistress of the Cecil, Georgia Post Office after working 29 years with the United States Postal Service. She was a member of the Cook County Historical Society and the Pilot Club of Adel.
Mrs. Wall is survived by two sons: David Wall and wife, Cindy, and Greg Wall and his friend, Tammy Lynch, all of Adel; three grandchildren: Britt and Alacia Wall, Sam and Nyla Wall, all of Moultrie, Georgia, and Emily Wall of Adel; one great granddaughter, Olivia Wall of Moultrie; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Larry Fulp, and Paul and Joyce Fulp, all of Adel; brothers-in-law: Jimmy Wall (Myra) of Charlotte, Tennessee, Doyle Wall (Kathy) of Vanleer, Tennessee; sisters-in-law: Betty Trotter of Charlotte, Tennessee, Jane Story (Thomas), Joanne Davis (Gary), all of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, Brenda Murrell (Larry) of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, and Ethel Wolhrabe (Bo) of Midland, Texas. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joel David “Joe” Wall, Sr.
A graveside service was held at 2:00 PM on April 10, 2022 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating and the eulogy presented by Mrs. Linda Meadows. Tracy Cornelius sang “How Great Thou Art” and the congregation sang “Amazing Grace.”
