Francis J. “Frank” Zubricky, 90

Mr. Francis J. “Frank” Zubricky, 90, of Adel, Georgia,
passed away on February 13, 2022 in Tifton, Georgia at Tift
Regional Medical Center. Mr. Zubricky was born in Cleveland,
Ohio on March 13, 1931 and his parents were Joseph
Peter Zubricky and Jospehine E. Grotosky Zubricky. He
was a resident of Cook County for the past 12 years and was
a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mr.
Zubricky served eight years in the Ohio Air National Guard
and worked 32 years for NASA as an aerospace engineer.
His time at NASA included him being an integral part of the
Gemini Program.
Mr. Zubricky is survived by two sons and daughters-inlaw:
Michael Zubrickyand Marisol Gonzales Vargas of Sebring,
Florida and Mark and Melissa Zubricky of Medina,
Ohio; a daughter, Mary Jo Monagon of Nashville, Georgia;
two granddaughters: Melanie Monagon of Ashland, Ohio and
Pamela Schopoff of Wadsworth, Ohio; sister and brother-inlaw,
Patricia and Jeff Milburn of Asheville, North Carolina;
brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Dorothy Zubricky of
Parma, Ohio; and another sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and
Jim Spuhler of Parma, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his
first wife, Patricia Irene Fahey Zubricky and his second wife,
Carmen Margaret Cox Zubricky.
A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, February 17,
2022 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at Horse Creek Winery, 2873
Hwy. 76, Nashville, Georgia 31639. Condolences may be
