Ramon Santana Rodriguez, 77

Mr. Ramon Santana Rodriguez, 77, of Adel, Georgia, passed away January 23, 2022 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. He was born on April 29, 1944 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He was stationed at Moody AFB, GA in 1984 before making Adel his home in 1996. His parents were Angel Doroteo Santana and Carmela Rodriguez. Ramon retired after 24 years of service from the United States Air Force as a TSGT and served as an aircraft mechanic but later worked for Eastern Airlines, Sunbelt Realty and Coldwell Bankers.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Santana of Adel; two sons and daughters-in-law: Raymond and Donna Santana of Valdosta and Carlos and Leslie Santana of Brunswick, Georgia; two daughters and sons-in-law: Sally and Greg Uptagrafft of Tallahassee, Florida, and Enid Santana and Omar McGlamery of Valdosta. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one brother and three sisters.
