Tom “Tommy” Junior Venable, 62

Mr. Tom “Tommy” Junior Venable, 62, of Adel, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.  He was born in Adel on August 20, 1957 to the late Thomas “Tom” Lee Venable and Lizzie Folsom Venable.  Mr. Venable was a lifelong resident of Cook County and was retired from Pike Creek Turf Company.  He was a Baptist.

Mr. Venable is survived by his son, Chris Venable; a brother, Buddy Venable of Carrabelle, Florida; two sisters: Kay Ray of Hahira, Georgia and Billy Jo “B.J.” Brogdon of Adel; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved and they loved him.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith “Judy” Ramona Easters Venable; a son, Thomas Zachery Venable; and a sister, Fae Sellars.

Mr. Venable’s family will hold a graveside service for him at Lenox City Cemetery on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 2 p.m. with Rev. William Davis officiating.
