Jon Folds, 59

Jon Folds, age 59, of Adel, passed away on May 12, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on January 16, 1967, in Adel, and he lived a life marked by love, adventure, and a gift for working with his hands. Jon worked as a printer press operator at Commercial Printing while in business and enjoyed fishing, especially loved going deep sea fishing with his dad in his younger years, memories that remained close to his heart throughout his life.

Survivors include his wife, Dana Folds of Adel; his son, Gradie of Adel; and his daughter, Daniele of Douglas; his mother, Linda Folds of Nashville: his brother, David and Joy Folds of Sparks; his sister, Cara “Cissy” Gooden of Nashville; his stepmother, Anna Strickland of Moultrie; and his stepbrother, Bucky Akins of Adel. Jon was preceded in death by his father, Wyman Folds.

Funeral services were held Friday May 15, 2026 at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Walker and Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating. Interment followed at Beulah Church Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com. Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
