The evening of four public meetings

Local citizens will have their pick of four local government meetings today, Monday, Oct. 21, 2024:

• The Cook County Board of Commissioners will have a work session at 5 p.m., followed by a regular session at 6 p.m., at the County Administration Building on South Hutchinson Avenue in Adel.

• The Adel City Council will have their regular session at 5:30 p.m. at Adel City Hall.

• The Cook County Board of Education will have their October work session at 5 p.m. and regular session at 6 p.m., at the Board Office on Josey Road (next to Cook High School).

• Sparks City Council has rescheduled their regular monthly meeting to 6 p.m. at Sparks City Hall.
