Adel announces trick or treat hours

The City of Adel’s trick or treat hours will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023.

Meanwhile, Cook Primary School will have their annual Halloween Parade at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, (behind CPS), and they will transition to Trunk or Treat immediately after that. Several community groups will be handing out goodies to the little ones.

Cook Elementary School will also have Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, Oct. 31. 

Individually wrapped candy is needed. Donations of individually wrapped candy can be turned in to the front office or to each child’s homeroom teacher. These items will help with the CES Trunk or Treat. 

Cook Middle School will have their Halloween Dance from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. 

Admission will be $5. Pizza, drinks, snacks, and other items will be sold. 

The dance is for all CMS students. Costumes are optional. 

All the schools are celebrating a Drug-Free Life by participating in various activities for Red Ribbon Week from Monday, Oct. 23, to Friday, Oct. 27.
