Cook County Youth Attend Georgia 4-H Rally at the Georgia National Fair

Local 4-H members attended the 2nd Annual 4-H Day at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, Ga.

October 14 -Perry, Ga. Over 230 Georgia 4-H youth attended the second annual 4-H Day at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, Georgia. Not only is the fair a great recreational opportunity but also an educational one as youth get to view the 4-H displays and learn more about Georgia agriculture through the number of exhibit halls and attractions onsite in Perry. Cook County 4-H’ers participated in many competitions at the fair. Displays and placings include:

While being at the fair, students attended the 4-H Rally in Reaves Arena. Reaves Arena houses 4,444 seats that Georgia 4-H could fill and turn the Georgia National Fairgrounds green. The program included engaging speakers, games with crowd participation, prizes and giveaways, 4-H dances, and more!
