City of Sparks hosts first Library Everywhere

The City of Sparks was super excited to be a host location for the first Library Everywhere location in Cook County.

The “Spark Up” event for this mobile library service, provided by Coastal Plain Regional Library System, was held this past Thursday at Sparks City Hall.

Citizens were able to check out library books, sign up for library cards, use free internet, or take advantage of any of the wonderful services that the library has to offer.

A special thanks to Sparks Police Department, Sparks Fire Department, Sparks Public Works Department, and the City Hall office staff for working together to help make this event a success! A huge shout-out to Coneheads and Coastal Plain Headstart  for being a part of the Spark Up Event, and to the  Mayor and Council for their  continued support.

Library Everywhere will be at Sparks City Hall every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, conveniently providing a mix of typical library services for the community such as printing, faxing, and notarization. Chomebooks, CDs, DVDs, and computers will also be available for checkout, as they are available.
