Mr. Scott Preston, 58

Mr. Scott Preston, age 58, of Adel, Georgia, passed away August 29, 2023 at his residence.  Mr. Preston was born August 31, 1964  in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Barry Preston and Sandy Hughes Preston.  He has lived in Lowndes County and the past 14 years in Cook County.  He was an equipment operator with Shiloh Farms in Lowndes County and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Mr. Preston is survived by his wife, Donalee Bowser Preston of Adel; one son, Chris Preston of Sparks, Georgia; two daughters: Hayley Preston of Clyattville, Georgia and Kara Preston of Hahira, Georgia; two step-sons: Alex Busack of Perry, Florida and Jake Busack of Lake City, Florida; and nine grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Bryon Hughes and his uncle, Gordy Hughes.

In keeping with Mr. Preston’s wishes he was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
