Freddie Joe Gann passed away on June 13, 2022. Joe as called by his friends and family was born on a very cold winter night on January 24, 1948, in Booneville Mississippi. His parents were the late Eldon and Edna Crowe Gann. He is proceeded in death by his older brother R.V. Gann. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Kim and his children Patti (Thomas) Bollart and Freddy Gann Jr. His 4 grandchildren Ashley Lucas of Fayetteville NC, Alexis Kirby of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Trevor and Paige Gann of Anchorage Alaska. His brother Charles Gann (Pat) of Virginia and Betty Ann Gann Hardy of Omega GA and many nieces and nephews. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years and continued contract work through the Air Force in Alaska. Joe loved his family and especially his precious grandchildren that he loved and talked about. He missed his small hometown of Lenox GA and dreamed of coming back one day. He loved the old days, his music and getting in the kitchen and cooking big meals for his family. He will be laid to rest with military honors on June 30, 2022 at Ft. Richardson National Cemetery in Anchorage, Alaska.
