Charles Chisler, 61

Charles Chisler, 61 of Sparks passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Florida. Charles was born October 20, 1960 to the late Thomas & Martha Hartley Chisler. He served four years in the United States Air Force and enjoyed playing his guitar, dirt track racing and traveling.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Chisler of Sparks; children, Charles (Shelby) Chisler, Jr of Altoona, PA, Bobby (Kristi) Chisler of Merrittstown, PA, Nicholas (Sara) Chisler of Jacksonville, AR, and Melinda (Dillard) Gandy of Kinston, N C; 8 grandchildren; two sisters, Michelle (Andy) Staley of Brownsville, PA, and Cherl King of Republic, PA; and one brother, Bradley (Faith) Chisler of Cornith, Mississippi. Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Toddy Ywaine Chisler.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Purvis Funeral home with Rev. Terry Reagan officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com. Purvis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
